Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge
It's not very often that you'll find a Wildlife Refuge so close to a metropolitan area, but the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is the exception to the rule.
Created in 1976 to provide protection for wildlife from expanding urban development the Minnesota Wildlife Refuge made up of 14,000 authorized acres, and is home to a number a different animal's including Bald Eagles, Owls, and Wild Coyote.
